Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Whisk the marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the tahini marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the pan: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
Cook the chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in the hot skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Rest the chicken: Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes.
Garnish & serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the chicken and squeeze lemon juice before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Marinate overnight for more flavor. You can also grill the chicken for a smoky flavor.
