  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup sweetener (like erythritol or sugar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Combine the protein powder, almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the applesauce, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond milk in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle chocolate chips or nuts on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow the donuts to cool before removing them from the pan.
