Sweet and flaky peach dumplings wrapped in crescent roll dough, baked to perfection, drizzled with cinnamon sugar syrup.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh peaches
  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve the peaches and carefully remove the pits.
  3. Take each peach half and roll it in a triangle of crescent roll dough.
  4. Place the dumplings in a greased baking dish.
  5. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  6. Stir in the sugar and cinnamon until fully combined.
  7. Pour this mixture over the dumplings.
  8. Pour the cup of water around the edges of the dish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  10. Let the dumplings cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Choose ripe peaches for maximum sweetness.
