  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a large bowl until the brown sugar dissolves.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, covering fully and refrigerating for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Baste the chicken with marinade during the last few minutes of grilling.
  6. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes
