  • 1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, or pecans), chopped
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., peanut butter or almond butter)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (e.g., cranberries, raisins, or apricots), chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, dried fruits, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Warm the honey or maple syrup and nut butter in a small saucepan over low heat until melted and combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
