Simple and flavorful grilled shrimp skewers perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine the shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Skewer the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, soaking wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
  4. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Fresh shrimp yields the best flavor, but frozen shrimp can be used as well. Don’t overcook the shrimp; look for them to be opaque and slightly curled.
