- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into pieces
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is no longer pink, then drain excess fat.
- Add potatoes, green beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Optional: Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
