  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  2. Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Lay a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast.
  5. Roll the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Dredge the rolled chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry the chicken rolls until golden brown on all sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for about 15 minutes to regain crispiness.
