  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, stirring in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream.
  6. Fold in the fresh blueberries and lemon juice gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  8. Mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar for the topping, and sprinkle over the batter.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool slightly before cutting into it.
