A delightful twist on the classic Big Mac, this salad features fresh ingredients and savory flavors without the bun.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. Prepare the salad base by combining chopped lettuce, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, chopped pickles, and shredded cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cooked ground beef to the salad mixture and mix well.
  4. Drizzle with Thousand Island dressing and toss to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled bowls or plates.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic powder or onion powder to the ground beef while cooking. Consider adding bell peppers or cucumbers for more crunch.
