Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha for the sauce. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the shrimp by coating them in cornstarch and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the shrimp in batches until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain the fried shrimp on paper towels.
  6. Toss the shrimp in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes
