Juicy grilled chicken marinated in a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag, ensuring the chicken is well coated, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat for even cooking.
  4. Prepare chicken for grilling: Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Allow the chicken to come to room temperature for a few minutes while the grill heats up.
  5. Grill the chicken: Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with fresh basil, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate overnight and allow chicken to rest after grilling before serving.
