  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sugar and cinnamon for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined.
  5. Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each donut cavity about 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Place the donut pan in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool slightly before rolling them in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Serve your donuts warm and enjoy!
